Dr. Heil is a licensed psychologist specializing in toddler, child, and young adult evaluations for a wide range of mental health, behavioral, and learning disorders. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and completed her PhD in school psychology from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. Her residency was completed at Cherokee Health Systems in Knoxville gaining valuable experience in assessment and treatment of pediatric neurodevelopmental, behavioral, and learning challenges. Following her residency, Dr. Heil relocated to Maine to join MaineGeneral Health’s Developmental Behavioral Department. There, she gained extensive clinical training in diagnostic and multidisciplinary evaluation, integrated care, and comprehensive mental health services for the pediatric population. Dr. Heil returned to East Tennessee in 2021 and is excited to call Knoxville home!

Dr. Heil returned to Knoxville with her husband and two young children. They enjoy everything East Tennessee has to offer, especially the year round outdoor activities!
